Detailed Itinerary and Essential Tips for 8-Day Trek
Day 1: Arrival in Tanzania
Upon your arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be greeted by a Sunset Africa Safari representative who will transfer you to your hotel in Moshi. Take this opportunity to rest and acclimatize to the altitude before the trek begins.
Day 2: Londorossi Gate to Mti Mkubwa Camp
After a hearty breakfast, you will be driven to Londorossi Gate where the trekking adventure officially begins. The first day of the trek takes you through lush rainforest, providing a glimpse of the diverse flora and fauna of the region. Arrive at Mti Mkubwa Camp for a well-deserved rest and overnight stay.
Day 3: Mti Mkubwa Camp to Shira 1 Camp
