This exciting Big Cat Safari is designed for wildlife enthusiasts seeking exceptional predator sightings combined with rich cultural experiences and a relaxing beach escape. Explore the elephant-dotted landscapes of Tarangire National Park, track lions and leopards across the vast plains of Serengeti National Park, descend into the wildlife-rich Ngorongoro Crater, and meet indigenous tribes at Lake Eyasi.

Your adventure concludes on the exotic island of Zanzibar, where white sandy beaches and turquoise waters provide the perfect ending to your East African journey.

Day 1: Arrival in Arusha

Arrive at Kilimanjaro Airport and transfer to your hotel

Day 1: Arusha – Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, you will receive a short safari briefing from your professional guide before departing for Tarangire National Park.

Upon arrival, begin your game drive in this spectacular park, famous for its large elephant herds and majestic baobab trees. Wildlife commonly seen includes giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, lions, and numerous bird species. Picnic lunch will be served inside the park, followed by an afternoon game drive until sunset.

Dinner and overnight at Olea Farm Lodge or similar (Full Board).


Day 2: Karatu – Serengeti National Park

After an early breakfast, depart with lunch boxes and drive toward Serengeti National Park via the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.

Upon entering the Serengeti, enjoy a game drive across the endless plains. The central Serengeti is particularly renowned for its high concentration of predators, including lions, cheetahs, and leopards. Other wildlife includes buffalo, elephants, gazelles, and hyenas.

Dinner and overnight at Serengeti Wildebeest Tented Camp or similar (Full Board).


Day 3: Serengeti National Park – Full Day

Enjoy a full day exploring Serengeti National Park with picnic lunch boxes. This day is dedicated to tracking the Big Five — buffalo, elephant, lion, rhino, and leopard — while also observing the park’s incredible biodiversity.

For those seeking a unique perspective, an optional hot air balloon safari can be arranged at an additional cost.

Return to your lodge in the evening for dinner and overnight at Serengeti Wildebeest Tented Camp (Full Board).


Day 4: Serengeti – Ngorongoro Conservation Area

After breakfast, enjoy a morning game drive before departing toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.

En route, visit a traditional Maasai village to learn about their customs, culture, and way of life. This cultural encounter offers insight into one of Tanzania’s most iconic communities.

Dinner and overnight at Olea Farm Lodge or similar (Full Board).


Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater – Lake Eyasi

Early in the morning, descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a full-day game drive. The crater floor is home to more than 25,000 mammals and offers one of the best opportunities to spot the endangered black rhino.

After lunch and an afternoon ascent from the crater, proceed to Lake Eyasi for dinner and overnight at Lake Eyasi Lodge (Full Board).


Day 6: Lake Eyasi – Arusha

Depart early for a cultural experience with the Hadzabe (Bushmen), learning about their traditional hunting techniques and way of life. Later, visit the Datoga (Tatoga) community to discover their blacksmithing skills and cultural traditions.

Return to the lodge for hot lunch before driving back to Arusha.
Overnight at Karibu Heritage Hotel (Bed & Breakfast).


Day 7: Fly to Zanzibar

After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your flight to Zanzibar. Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred to Stone Town for dinner and overnight at Dhow Hotel or similar (Bed & Breakfast).


Day 8: Stone Town – Kendwa

After breakfast, enjoy a guided tour of Stone Town, exploring its historical sites and vibrant culture. Later, transfer to Kendwa Beach for relaxation.

Dinner and overnight at Sunset Bungalow Hotel or similar (Bed & Breakfast).


Day 9–11: Beach Relaxation in Zanzibar

Enjoy leisurely days at Kendwa Beach. Relax on the white sandy shores, swim in the turquoise waters, or participate in optional water activities such as snorkeling or diving.

Overnight at Sunset Bungalow Hotel or similar (Bed & Breakfast).


Day 12: Departure

After breakfast, transfer to Zanzibar Airport for your onward flight according to your travel plans.
