This short but rewarding safari is ideal for travelers with limited time who still wish to experience Tanzania’s iconic wildlife, dramatic landscapes, and world-famous Ngorongoro Crater.
After breakfast in Arusha, depart for Lake Manyara National Park for a game drive. Nestled at the base of the Great Rift Valley escarpment, Lake Manyara is a shallow alkaline lake surrounded by lush groundwater forests and open plains, creating a serene and picturesque setting.
The park is famous for its tree-climbing lions, large troops of baboons, hippos, and exceptional birdlife, including flamingos and over 400 bird species.

After breakfast, drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a full-day game drive on the crater floor. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera, covering approximately 260 square kilometers, with crater walls rising up to 600 meters.
The crater is home to over 30,000 large mammals, including lions, elephants, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeest, gazelles, and the endangered black rhinoceros, making it one of the best wildlife viewing areas in Africa.
After the game drive, ascend the crater rim and return to Arusha, marking the end of your safari.
