5 Days Masai Mara Migration Safari

Day 1: Arrival in Nairobi

Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, our team will warmly welcome you and transfer you to your hotel in Nairobi.

Take time to relax, recover from your journey, and prepare for the adventure ahead.

Overnight in Nairobi.

Day 2: Nairobi – Maasai Mara National Reserve

After breakfast, depart for the world-renowned Maasai Mara National Reserve. Enjoy a scenic drive through the Great Rift Valley with photo stops along the way.

Arrive at your lodge or tented camp in time for lunch before heading out for your first exciting afternoon game drive.

During migration season (typically July to October), you may witness:

• Massive herds of wildebeest and zebras

• Dramatic Mara River crossings

• Crocodiles waiting in the river

• Lions, cheetahs, and hyenas following the herds

Dinner and overnight at your lodge or camp.

Day 3: Full Day in Maasai Mara

Today is dedicated to exploring the vast plains of the Maasai Mara.

Enjoy morning and afternoon game drives as your expert guide searches for:

• Lions hunting in prides

• Cheetahs sprinting across open plains

• Leopards resting in trees

• Elephants grazing peacefully

• Buffalo herds moving in large numbers

The Mara’s endless landscapes provide incredible photography opportunities and unforgettable wildlife encounters.

Optional activity:
A sunrise hot air balloon safari over the Maasai Mara (available at additional cost) offers breathtaking aerial views of the migration.

Dinner and overnight at your lodge or camp.

Day 4: Maasai Mara – Nairobi

After breakfast, enjoy a final game drive as you exit the reserve.

Drive back to Nairobi, arriving in the afternoon. Transfer to your hotel for overnight stay.

Day 5: Departure

After breakfast, you will be transferred to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your departure flight.
