This short but rewarding safari takes you to two of Tanzania’s most iconic wildlife destinations: Tarangire National Park and the Ngorongoro Crater. The journey begins in Tarangire, a park famous for its large elephant herds, ancient baobab trees, and diverse wildlife set within a beautiful savannah landscape.

The adventure continues to the Ngorongoro Crater, the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera and one of Africa’s most remarkable wildlife havens. The crater offers exceptional opportunities to see the Big Five, including the rare black rhino, within a compact and breathtaking environment. This safari is perfect for travelers seeking an authentic and rich wildlife experience within a short time.

Day 1: Arusha to Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, your professional safari guide will provide a short briefing before departing for Tarangire National Park. Upon arrival, you will begin your game drive through this beautiful park, well known for its large elephant population, majestic baobab trees, and abundant wildlife including lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, and many bird species.

Lunch will be served at a picnic site inside the park, followed by an afternoon game drive to explore more of the park’s diverse habitats. In the late afternoon, you will drive to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Ngorongoro Crater Tour and Return to Arusha

After an early breakfast, depart for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a full day game drive. The crater is home to over 30,000 animals, including lions, elephants, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeests, flamingos, and the endangered black rhino.

Enjoy a picnic lunch on the crater floor while surrounded by incredible wildlife and stunning scenery. In the afternoon, ascend the crater and begin your drive back to Arusha, marking the end of your safari.
