Day 1: Arrival and Scenic Drive to Volcanoes National Park

Upon arrival in Rwanda, you will be warmly welcomed by our professional guide at Kigali International Airport. Following a brief orientation, enjoy a scenic drive to Volcanoes National Park, situated in the heart of the Virunga Mountains.

Along the way, admire Rwanda’s lush landscapes, rolling hills, and vibrant local communities. Check in to your comfortable accommodation near the park and relax in preparation for the next day’s gorilla trekking adventure.

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking and Dian Fossey Hike

After an early breakfast, head to Volcanoes National Park headquarters for a briefing by expert rangers on gorilla trekking etiquette and safety. Accompanied by experienced trackers, embark on an exhilarating trek through the dense rainforest in search of a habituated gorilla family.

Witness these magnificent creatures in their natural habitat, observing their feeding, playing, and social interactions. Spend approximately one hour with the gorillas, capturing photographs and creating memories that will last a lifetime.

Following the gorilla trek, embark on the Dian Fossey Hike to the Karisoke Research Center, where the renowned primatologist dedicated her life to mountain gorilla conservation.
