Day 1: Arrival in Nairobi, Kenya
Arrive in Nairobi and transfer to your hotel. Kenya’s vibrant capital serves as the gateway to the legendary wildlife regions of East Africa. Enjoy time to relax and prepare for the adventure ahead.

Day 2: Nairobi – Amboseli National Park | Game & Mountain Vistas
Drive to Amboseli National Park, renowned for its large elephant herds and sweeping views of Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest peak. Arrive at your lodge set beneath acacia trees, with Kilimanjaro dominating the horizon.
After lunch, enjoy an afternoon game drive through open plains, freshwater swamps, and ancient lakebeds where wildlife thrives. In the evening, enjoy a special welcome dinner.

Day 3: Amboseli National Park | Mountainside Sightings
Enjoy early morning and afternoon game drives, tracking elephants, zebras, wildebeest, and predators that roam the plains. The contrast between wildlife and the snow-capped peak of Kilimanjaro offers unforgettable photographic opportunities.

Day 4: Amboseli – Arusha – Lake Manyara Region
Travel by road to Arusha, crossing into Tanzania. After lunch in Arusha, continue to Mto wa Mbu, where you enjoy a fun tuk-tuk ride through rice fields and local neighborhoods. Visit the lively village market, rich in color and culture, before continuing to your lodge in the Great Rift Valley.

Day 5: Lake Manyara – Ngorongoro Conservation Area
This morning, enjoy a game drive in Lake Manyara National Park, famous for its tree-climbing lions, large baboon troops, and abundant birdlife.
After lunch, travel to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, ascending the crater rim through lush vegetation. Later, enjoy a Chef’s Table culinary experience, learning and tasting local dishes.

Day 6: Ngorongoro Crater | A Natural Wildlife Haven
Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a full-day game drive. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is home to over 30,000 animals, including lions, elephants, buffalo, flamingos (seasonal), and the rare black rhinoceros.
After a picnic lunch, visit a Maasai village to learn about their traditional lifestyle, crafts, and beadwork.

Day 7: Ngorongoro – Serengeti National Park | In Ancient Footsteps
Drive to the legendary Serengeti National Park, stopping en route at Olduvai Gorge, one of the most important paleoanthropological sites in the world. Explore the museum and view excavation sites revealing early human history.
Continue into the Serengeti, a land of endless plains and abundant predators.

Day 8: Serengeti National Park | Iconic Safari Quarry
Spend a full day on game drives searching for the Big Five and a wide variety of plains game. The Serengeti is also a vital corridor for the Great Migration, depending on season.

Day 9: Serengeti – Masai Mara Game Reserve
Cross back into Kenya and drive to the Masai Mara Game Reserve, one of Africa’s most wildlife-rich regions. After settling into your camp or lodge, enjoy an afternoon game drive across the predator-filled plains.

Day 10–11: Masai Mara Game Reserve | Days of Discovery
Spend two full days exploring the Masai Mara’s rolling savannas and river systems. Witness lions, cheetahs, elephants, hippos, crocodiles, and hundreds of bird species.
Optional experiences include a hot air balloon safari at sunrise and a visit to a local school (when in session). One evening, enjoy a scenic sundowner followed by a memorable farewell dinner.

Sunset african safari is an absolutely recommendable tour operator. We had booked 6 unforgettable days in the Serengeti as a private tour. our guide Patrick is an excellent driver and knows a lot about the Serengeti and its animals. We felt absolutely safe in every situation. Our accommodation was in a mobile camp. The service of the staff, the food and the friendliness is unforgettable. These camps are equipped with everything you need. In our eyes, this is already luxury in the great outdoors. During our game drives we were so overwhelmed by all the animal sightings that this can hardly be put into words. All our respect to all the staff of Sunset African Safari. Superb experience!
Sunset Africa Safaris is definitely a reliable and experienced tour operator! Thanks to our guide Omaru, our 4 days 3 nights small group tour(3 pax) in the Safari was surely above our expectations, and he knows where to to find the animals. While we were in the Safari, the only thing we need to do was to enjoy the breath taking views and the closeness to the wild aninimals; everything else (Transportation, lodging, food...) was taken care by our experienced and knowledgeable guide.
My advice for doing a Safari tour:
1. Small group is better as you can move freely in the car to see the animals on both sides.
2.Plan your trip in advance and prepare the fund in advance in cash or bank transfer, generally credit card doesn't work well in Tanzania as there is 5% charge on the consumer side.
3.Bring warm clothes, SLR camera, binoculars with you.
4.Serengeti and Ngorongoro are must visit attractions.

Family holiday
Myself and my family (daughter 14 & Son 9) had a fabulous time in Tanzania visiting family, but one the best experiences we had was going on Safari with Godfrey and climbing Mount Kilimanjaro, they were very professional but also friendly and good with the kids. 10/10
