This 2-day private safari to Tarangire National Park offers an excellent short wildlife experience from Arusha. Known for its large elephant herds, ancient baobab trees, and diverse wildlife, Tarangire provides exceptional game viewing in a peaceful and scenic environment.

This safari is ideal for travelers with limited time who still want to experience Tanzania’s authentic wildlife. You will enjoy private game drives in a 4×4 safari vehicle, overnight accommodation in a lodge or camp, and the services of a professional safari guide.

Day 1: Arusha – Tarangire National Park

You will be picked up from your hotel or residence in Arusha in the morning and depart for Tarangire National Park with your professional safari guide.

Upon arrival, begin a full-day game drive exploring this diverse park, famous for its large elephant population and iconic baobab trees. The Tarangire River attracts a wide range of wildlife including zebras, giraffes, wildebeest, buffalo, lions, and numerous bird species.

Enjoy a picnic lunch inside the park and continue with afternoon game drives until late afternoon.

After the game drive, proceed to your lodge or campsite for dinner and overnight.

Accommodation at Osupuko Lodge or similar (Full Board).

Day 2: Tarangire National Park – Arusha

After breakfast, depart for another game drive in Tarangire National Park with lunch boxes provided.

This additional game drive offers further opportunities to spot predators and large herbivores in their natural habitat. Your guide will explore different areas of the park to maximize wildlife sightings.

After lunch, begin your return journey to Arusha, arriving in the late afternoon.
