Day 1: Arrival in Moshi (elevation: 890 meters)
Upon your arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be greeted by a representative from Sunset Africa Safari and transferred to your hotel in Moshi. Take this day to rest, acclimatize, and prepare for the exciting journey ahead. In the evening, you will have a briefing session with your guide who will provide essential information and answer any questions you may have.

Day 2: Moshi to Shira 2 Camp (elevation: 3,850 meters, distance: 8 kilometers, trekking time: 4-5 hours)
After breakfast, you will be driven to the Londorossi Gate for registration before reaching the starting point of your trek. From here, the trail winds through the lush rainforest, offering glimpses of exotic flora and fauna. As you ascend, the landscape transforms into moorland, and you will eventually reach the Shira 2 Camp, where you will spend the night.

Day 3: Shira 2 Camp to Moir Hut (elevation: 4,200 meters, distance: 14 kilometers, trekking time: 5-7 hours)
